This tiny sparkle bean is based on a real bobtail squid - a nocturnal cephalopod about the size of a grape that glows thanks to a symbiotic light-producing bacteria.
My version is handmade from crochet cotton using a 0.75mm hook, filled with polyester fiberfill, has a wire frame in the arms for subtle posing, and hand-painted glass eyes.
It’s approx 5cm long, sparcles on the light and slightly glows in the dark for extra charm.
This one comes in a dark colour with blue and green tones, and subtle dot glow. It looks suspiciously cute from every angle.
